Savour a set lunch and dinner menu put together by an all-star cast of MasterChefs at Singapore’s first MasterChef pop-up dining event at Ash & Elm in InterContinental Singapore
Fans of MasterChef have all been there – left tantalised at their screens, wishing they could lunge their arms through the fourth wall to have a taste of the chefs’ exquisite creations. Well, dream no longer, ’cos here’s your chance to taste these culinary creations yourself at the MasterChef Pop-up event at Ash & Elm. How big is this news? Even the “Godfather of modern cooking” himself, Chef Marco Pierre White, swung by to grace the preview of this dining affair (keep an eye out for our interview!). Here’s what you need to know about MasterChef Dining & Bar.
So what is the MasterChef Dining & Bar Pop-up?
From 25 November to 9 December, the pop-up will take over the kitchens of the swish Ash & Elm in InterContinental Singapore. And if you’re already familiar with the MasterChef TV series, you’ll be no stranger to the four MasterChef contestants who will be working their magic in the kitchen.

Helming the kitchens for the pop-up will be Woo Wai Leong, Luca Manfé, Audra Morrice and Reynold Poernomo. Each of these chefs has run the gauntlet on MasterChef and brings something unique to the table, whether it’s Woo Wai Leong’s penchant for alcoholic additions or Luca Manfé’s emphasis on seasonal ingredients.
There’s a four-course lunch menu…
Starting off the MasterChef lunch menu is an intriguing appetiser by Chef Woo that includes novel additions as dashi tea broth, cured hamachi and scallops, as well as shiso circles and green apple. This is followed by Chef Manfé’s signature broccoli rabe ravioli that’s set to impress. Chef Woo enters the fray again with a meaty beef shortrib with tofu cream, eggplant, and crispy glutinous rice, and this feast ends off with Chef Poernomo’s citrus cheesecake mousse with blackberry gel, yuzu curd, blueberry compote, lemon meringue, and lemon shortbread shards – heavenly!
And a six-course dinner too
As for thedinner menu, this includes all the dishes in the lunch menu along with the addition of a second appetiser by Chef Poernomo – a cuisine-blending compressed heirloom tomato with sambal, yuzu sorbet and puffed tapioca cracker. The second addition to the menu is Chef Manfé’s octopus with fava beans, potato confit and parsley.

Your MasterChef experience doesn’t end there! Hop over to the MasterChef Pop-up Bar at Victoria Bar and you’ll get to end the evening with a curated selection of tapas dishes, as well as cocktails put together by the four MasterChef personalities. After a feast like that, we can’t think of a better way to wind down! The pop-up bar is not ticketed and walk-ins are welcome.
