Local label lovers, KEEPERS: Singapore designer collective has moved into a permanent home near Bugis, featuring fashion, jewellery, home decor and more
It looks like we’ve found our favourite homegrown shopping haunt. KEEPERS – Singapore’s top designer collective – has recently moved into National Design Centre (NDC) for good *squeals*. Yep, that’s right #shoplocal fans – camping out at its popular pop-up stores will now officially be a thing of the past.
The permanent new store will feature a star lineup of Singapore’s best designers and artisans with something for everyone. Fashion and beauty hedonists can take their pick from jewellery and silversmithing legend (and KEEPERS founder) Carrie K, and organic purists Frank Skincare. Foodies have a swell selection of savouries and sweets with iconic, preservative-free spice pastes from Batu Lesung Company and Demochoco’s handcrafted chocolates up for grabs. As for home decor fans, be sure to check out Hinika’s furnishings inspired by Singapore’s iconic playgrounds and Onlewo’s heritage-influenced wallpapers.
A perfect excuse for your return visits? Fresh new themes and designers will be introduced every two months! And if you can’t wait to snap up these bargains already, head to its debut on 27 May; you’ll not only have a first-hand look of the curated goods, but also the chance to meet (and pick the brains of) your favourite local designers.
KEEPERS, #02-03 National Design Centre, 111 Middle Road, Singapore 188969.
