From 10 – 19 February 2023, beef specialist The Gyu Bar launches a special edition Maki – Valentine’s Day Maki ($48). This endearing heart-shaped sushi roll is available for dine-in and takeaway, simply perfect for an intimate date.
The Valentine’s Day Maki features A5 Miyazaki Wagyu, known for its exceptional quality and unparalleled flavour. Rolled in seaweed and nestled within Hokkaido rice, the buttery and tender cubes of lightly torched Miyazaki Wagyu are complemented with tobiko, takuan and cucumber for added textures and nuance. Served alongside the Valentine’s Day Maki is a luxurious side of briny and melt-in-the-mouth texture of Hokkaido Uni (20g), an extra touch to mark the celebration of love.
The Gyu Bar’s Valentine’s Day Maki is available daily from 10 – 19 February 2023.
