Experience Yvette’s performance as she shares her love for the lush harmonies of jazz that will get you grooving and moving.
Inspired by the Tiny Desk Concerts by NPR, Felt Sense Tiny Concert is an unplugged concert by Felt Sense which aims to showcase artists from the local creative community, bring music lovers and artists closer together through a personal and intimate experience, and foster a nourishing environment where people share their love for music with one another.
This show is intentionally kept small and intimate, capped at around 30 people capacity. Music lovers will be seated on the floor (with cushions / mini seats provided) while they enjoy the artist’s performance up close.
– About the artist –
Singaporean veteran Filipino-Spanish singer and fierce keeper-of-the-jazz-flame, Yvette Atienza is an astonishingly versatile singer, with Jazz and Latin Jazz as her strongest suits, as both provide a channel for her penchant for improvisation and strong rhythms. With a career spanning 37 years, she led the way for vocal improvisation, vocalese and Latin Jazz in Singapore, and has also taught and mentored many of Singapore’s young, up-and-coming singers.
