Open to carnivores and families alike from 12pm onwards, expect to tuck into tender, juicy meats with primal, hands-on glee, as FYR puts on a delicious spread of prime meats, including a whole suckling pig on the spit, beef steaks, lamb, bratwursts, chicken and more, alongside fresh seafood and assorted vegetable skewers. On the side are nine different home-made sauces, including favourites like mushroom, pepper, belachan and chilli coulis.
FOOD
Diners can choose to pay for each item (from $6 per meat / from $2 per seafood skewer / from $3 per sausage / from $2 per vegetable skewer).
The chefs are also happy to put together the restaurant’s signature Caveman Platter (for min. 2 people at $60 per platter), which will consist of choice cuts like suckling pig, beef short ribs, lamb ribs, pork ribs, chicken thigh and pork collar.
DRINKS
Complementing the array of food will be ice cold Beer Buckets (of five bottles Budweiser or San Miguel Light at $32 per bucket), draught beers at $11-$13 per pint and the refreshing signature Caveman Grog, frozen or on the rocks ($42 per jug / $12 per glass).
KIDS
Kids will have their own fun with face painting, “cave” drawings, caveman dress-up and more for an exciting afternoon. They will have their own menu of goodies, including fish & chips, mini sliders and Bam Bam Slushie ($12 per jug / $6 per glass).
