Celebrate Easter this year the Greek way, as Summerlong presents a special Sunday Easter Brunch menu for this sacred holiday. On 12 April 2020, head over to Summerlong by the idyllic Robertson Quay riverfront for an afternoon of Greek delights and activities for the whole family.
Guests can start off their Easter with a counter-style buffet menu priced at $30++ per person, where they can look forward to highlights like the Greek Salad, Classic Hummus with a side of bruschetta, Zucchini Fritters that are fried to perfection; and a Greek version of ratatouille, Briam topped with feta cheese. For desserts, guests can savour Baklava, a rich, sweet dessert pastry made of layers of phyllo dough; or a dense, nutty and lusciously sweet Greek Ravini cake.
The pièce de résistance of the Easter celebratory feast is an outdoor live station of Roast Spit Lamb, set-up exclusively for the event. Guests going for the counter-style buffet can enjoy this treat with a top up of $20++, or order a single portion à la carte at $39++ for 250g and served with roasted potato, tzatziki, salad and pita.
The beverage menu will also celebrate all things Greek. Guests can look forward to fun beverages like the frozen Mango Maracatu ($20++), crafted with Maracatu Cachaça, Pavlova vodka and mango Puree; or Greek-inspired cocktails like Greek Mojito ($20++), crafted with Metaxa, fresh mint, brown sugar and lime. Greek beers and spirits like Mythos Beer ($14++), Masthika and Metaxa will also be available.
Kids are welcome to experience this Greek Easter, with fun activities like egg treasure hunting, balloon sculpting and face painting lined up for them.
