Keen on going green but not sure where to start? Join fellow green champs at the Conscious Festival 2023, from 13 to 15 October, to make a difference and learn about all things sustainability.
Whether it’s saying no to plastics or bringing our own bags, our team at Honeycombers always strives to live greener. But admittedly, it can be difficult to visualise the weight of every ‘green’ action we take. For those yearning to make their actions count, the seventh edition of the Conscious Festival is the place to be. Staging its return at the sprawling eco-lifestyle destination South Beach, the festival brings an all-new immersive and gamified experience this year. It’s your chance to become a greener you and make a difference to the environment. Here’s everything to expect at the three-day event, from 13 to 15 October 2023.

Engage, discover, save trees IRL
From sharings by renowned thought leaders to transformative workshops, the Conscious Festival is a thoughtfully curated platform for all things sustainability. This year, the festival amps up with a brand new gamified aspect. Every action taken by a guest earns them a ‘tree point’, and each ‘tree point’ earned will protect a real tree from being cut down – and the Conscious Festival is making this conservation a reality with impact partners Cloud Forest and Rainforest Trust!
To earn ‘tree points’, simply take part in any of the activities and experiences at the festival, and scan a unique QR code upon completion. It can be attending a talk by one of the many thought leaders, participating in workshops on breath work or mindful eating, or snapping a photo with the Mercedes-Benz electric vehicle and sharing it on social media. Or, make your own recycled plastic products, try a clothing swap with your pre-loved clothes, and get a tarot reading by an AI tarot – yes, all these can score you ‘tree points’ too! We’ve also heard that bonus ‘tree points’ are scattered around the festival, so keep an eye out for hidden QR codes.
Need more motivation to rack up those ‘tree points’? Be one of the top scorers on the real-time leaderboard, and bag home some exciting prizes. We’ve got our eyes on a staycation at one of Singapore’s greenest hotels, Parkroyal Collection Pickering; a two-night villa stay on private island Cempedak Island; and a month’s supply of Ben & Jerry’s plant-based ice cream. Time to put your game face on!
Discover eco gems at the vibrant marketplace
Tried all the activities and experiences at the festival? Head to the bustling bazaar next for some environmentally-friendly finds. With more than 70 conscious brands featured, it’s definitely a treasure trove of unique creations, handcrafted goods and nifty innovations. Featuring brands like Bettr, OliveAnkara and TTG Wines, shop to your heart’s content for fashion, beauty, tech, F&B and other lifestyle products. While you’re browsing, make a stop at the Lufthansa booth to learn more about biomimicry – and score some extra ‘tree points’! There’s something for everyone.
Nourish and replenish at the F&B village
Oh, did we mention, the festival is almost zero-waste, plant-based and carbon negative? It’s a 100% plant-based feast here at the F&B village! From exotic smoothie bowls to mouthwatering vegan street food, these vegetarian-friendly delights will leave your body and soul feeling refreshed. Don’t forget to quench your thirst too. The array of sustainable beers by Crust, organic wines by TTG and conscious alcohol-free cocktails will leave you spoilt for choice.
Bask in a medley of music and art
What’s a festival without some good tunes and vibes? Soak in the pulsating beats from the music stage with a stellar line-up of performances from local and regional artists curated by Wild Pearl Studio. And don’t miss out on the interactive art installations and activities all around. Take part in live trash art with sustainability creator, The Conscious Lizzy, as she transforms discarded, everyday materials like cardboard and plastic bottles into stunning pieces of art. These creative activities are sure to probe, educate and spark wonder.
Learn, unlearn and relearn
If you’re hoping to level up in sustainability leadership and learn from the best, sign yourself up for the Conscious Leaders Bootcamp happening on 13 October. From 12pm to 6pm, meet fellow entrepreneurs, founders and leaders who share the same passion of creating a more sustainable world. Get ready to be inspired by thought leaders like Philipp Bonkatz, general manager of Lufthansa in Singapore, Malaysia and Brunei; and Natalie Gardiner, head of marketing at Circular, and engage in topics from symbiotic leadership to regenerative cities and using AI in sustainability. Tickets start from $250 per pax, and include lunch and a post-bootcamp drinks session. Snag a spot at this bootcamp – it’s time to raise the bar!
