Let there be flowers! Charlotte Puxley’s creations bring the most beautiful countryside blooms and shrubs to our shores. We’ve got our eyes on these wild bouquets, DIY workshops and exciting new drops…
There’s nothing more quintessentially romantic than a beautiful bouquet, and no better way to bring colour and joy to a home than with a vibrant floral arrangement. Hailing from London, Charlotte Puxley’s florist business has been one that we followed since we interviewed the flower maestro herself back in 2015. (We can’t believe half a decade has passed already!)
If you love all things wild and wonderful, you’ll adore her fabulous creations. The combination of delicate blooms with rustic shrubs gives her bouquets the distinct gypsy-chic look that’s reminiscent of the English countryside. That, and the fact that she’s got two adorable Frenchies (Soba and Ida) at her studio, is all the convincing we need to nip inside.
A peony for your thoughts
Nothing says “I’m wild about you” better than a bohemian bouquet that’s elegant yet unruly, amirite? Spruce things up this Valentine’s Day with an artfully arranged bunch that is anything but ordinary. And we mean this literally, because no two Charlotte Puxley creations are the same – the use of seasonal foliage means that every flower combination is unique.
Here, we spotlight the Valentine’s Day bouquet (above) showcasing vivid fuchsia hues from soft blooms like peonies, roses and orchids. Foxtail fern and other greens thrown in give this bunch an effortlessly unstudied charm. We love.
Homes for your blooms
If you need more vases in your life, thistle cheer you up: expect to see a new range of Hungarian pickle jars launching at Charlotte Puxley this month. These are all hand-blown discoveries that the team made amidst a range of Hungarian antiques. Lucky for us, they quickly shipped a load of them back to be adorned with flowers. P.S. the jars are all named after Roald Dahl characters!
That floral feeling
Take a leaf out of Charlotte Puxley’s book at the multiple floral arrangement workshops she hosts, where you’ll learn from the bouquet expert herself. Whether it’s learning to pick out the right assortment of spring flowers for your new pickle vase or creating your own hand tie bouquet, you’ll have a floral-scented blast and walk away with gorgeous blooms.
