Shape up on vacation with the adrenaline-pumping Chapman's Challenge biathlon, happening on 13 May at the gorgeous Pangkor Laut Resort Malaysia
If you’re fond of bingeing while on vacation, you’d be all too familiar with the dreaded holiday weight gain. Which begs the question: how do you stay in shape while relaxing in a tropical paradise? It’s time you book a spot in the Chapman’s Challenge biathlon, now back for its second year running and happening on 13 May.
For the uninitiated, it’s a fantastic fitness break in Southeast Asia. Held at the ultra luxe Pangkor Laut Resort in Malaysia, the race features two exciting components: a 6.2km run around the island’s roadways and through a two million-year-old forest, as well as a 1km swim out at Emerald Bay.
An homage to Colonel Spencer Chapman‘s escape from the Japanese army in World War II, the Chapman’s Challenge is also a fitness holiday. Book a package (from $301++ per room per night) through YTL Hotels for a seamless, all-inclusive stay – it includes return speedboat transfers, accommodation in your villa of choice, all your meals, two entries to race day, post-race tipples and a barbecue dinner at Emerald Bay for two. Note that a minimum stay of two nights is required to participate in the race. R&R has just taken on a whole new meaning.
The Chapman Challenge is happening on 13 May at Pangkor Laut Resort. Register online now here.
