Cashu
A key figure in São Paulo’s queer underground electronic music scene, Carolina Schutzer – aka DJ Cashu – is best known for a rhythmic and hypnotic sound which communicates urgent political issues and, as a co-founder of Mamba Negra, for her commitment to tackling those same systemic injustices head on.
She can frequently be found performing at block parties and small venues but also brings her energy to bigger stages across the world, equally at home playing Dekmantel Festival in São Paulo and Berghain’s Panorama Bar.
Bagvs
bagvs is the moniker of Bagus Prayogo, a DJ and electronic musician from Bandung, Indonesia. A music enthusiast above all else, he is defined as an artist and performer by a passion for far-reaching sounds.
With his sharp crate-digging sensibilities, bagvs builds unexpected bridges between disparate genres, connecting minimal-tech-bleeps, deep driving house-rollers, and hard-hitting future electronica through sets that are Unrestricted and unapologetic.
Having played clubs and festivals throughout Far-East Asia and Oceania, bagvs remains is actively engaged in both local and global music communities: He currently runs the radio initiative, Headstream, at Potato Head Bali, while also holding the position of resident DJ. A UK regular, he contributes to Bristol-based Noods Radio with his collective C*SSS, curating events that showcase a diverse array of artists, from ZULI, Piezo, Elvin Brandhi, to Rey Colino (Kalahari Oyster Cult).
