More reasons to rejoice, pizza fans! Globally renowned pizza chain, PizzaExpress has launched its first Singapore outlet, and is set to deliver its stellar fare of tasty homemade pizzas, pastas and more
What’s better than ice-cold beer, deep fried chicken wings, and (dare we say it) chocolate? It could only be pizza. More good news for fans of the cheesy, carb-loaded wonder – joining the lineup of Singapore’s best pizza places is the renowned PizzaExpress. Now opened at the basement of Scotts Square in Orchard Road, the first Singaporean outlet of the renowned global chain will be dishing out its world famous handmade pizzas, and we absolutely can’t wait to get our hands dirty.
Founded by Peter Boizot (AKA the genius who brought the world’s most addictive flatbread to Great Britain) 50 years ago, PizzaExpress is built on exceptional food, fresh ingredients and timeless interiors. Expect nothing less than quality grub at its Scotts Square outlet – also its 560th in the world – as it’s company-owned and not franchised.
The local outlet will feature PizzaExpress’s usual fare of handmade, top-notch Italian pizzas, satisfying pastas, local-inspired chef’s specials, salads and drool-worthy desserts. Top on our list of must-tries are the Calabrese, made with Calabria-style sausages, spicy Italian sausage and heaps of mozzarella, the Classic Lava pizza of burrata, chilli oil and basil, and the baked-to-perfection chocolate fudge cake.
