Plus, nightly Fashion Circuits with stunning pieces on a glittering catwalk, a mesmerising speed painting show and more!
You know Singapore’s F1 not just for the famous night race but for its parties as well – The Podium Lounge 2019 is back for its 11th year at The Grand Ballroom of The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore for three incredible nights. The best part? It’s just 200 metres from the F1 Pit Building, so you can hop on over for the party right after the thrilling race.
Snap those pictures
The Ritz-Carlton is glam enough, but you have to see it after it’s been transformed into an upscale lounge with a LED catwalk and VIP balconies. Be one of the 10,000 guests to party at this exclusive location, and come in your most extra outfit!
Cue the headliners
Friday, 20 Sept: Who doesn’t know the Spice Girls? If you’re a diehard fan, get pumped for Melanie C (i.e. Sporty Spice) helming the decks.
Saturday, 21 Sept: Party starters The Cuban Brothers will be revving up this bash with their soulful, funky hits and risque sketches… most likely in their distinct Hawaiian suits!
Sunday, 22 Sept: Game of Thrones fans will instantly recognise the British actor Raleigh Ritchi. But did you know Grey Worm, Commander of the Unsullied, is also singer-songwriter? He’ll be here for the first time and you won’t want to miss his stage.
Here’s the cherry on top: For all three nights, Daniel Jones of Savage Garden will perform with Kathleen De Leon of Hi-5 fame and rising local star Maya Davidov. Excited for this high-octane bash yet? Get booking, stat.
On art and fashion
The nightly Fashion Circuit adds even more glitz and glam to the party. This catwalk show will be curated by LA celebrity designer M of MTheMovement, so it’s guaranteed to be a stylish feast for the eyes.
Danish-American neo-pop artist Jan Larsen will also be making an appearance as the Official Artist for The Podium Lounge. Together with his team, expect custom-crafted, contemporary works at the exhibition. Plus, Larsen’s Go Go Go showcase will even be inviting guests (yes, you’ll have a chance to be a part of this show!) to an immersive experience that blends pop art with the world-renowned motorsport race.
To top it all off, speed painter Armin Flossdorf from F1 Arts will be performing his mesmerising act with acrylics and pencil on canvas.
Intrigued, pumped, and ready to party? Race you there this weekend!
