Can't live without your cuppa Joe? From artisanal brews to barista showcases, here’s a sneak peek at what’s set to happen at the F1 Pit Building.
This goes out to all caffeine addicts and the like – organised by Sphere Exhibits Pte Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Singapore Press Holdings Ltd (SPH), and presented by DBS, the Singapore Coffee Festival is coming to town this June. Happening at the F1 Pit Building from June 9-12, this festival is going to be the first ever coffee-focused event in Singapore that caters to all, regardless if you’re a casual latte sipper or a barista set to take on the world. A platform to exhibit the unique kopi history in Singapore, this is definitely one festival you cannot miss, especially if you can’t do without a cuppa coffee a day!
What can you expect? Singapore Coffee Festival will feature 100 exhibitors from the coffee and café industry such as Chye Seng Huat Hardware, Common Man Coffee Roasters, Smitten Specialty Coffee, Royz Et Vous, Knockhouse Supply Co, Dapper Coffee, Killiney Kopitiam, Oriole Coffee + Bar and many more. On top of a smorgasbord of top coffee roasts from all around the world for you to sample from, there’ll also be delectable food and specialty coffees from an array of cafes and restaurants for you to try out. What’s more? Witness baristas competing amongst each other, putting forth their best latte art to impress you, and don’t forget to support local coffee players by checking out the local kopi showcase there. Last but not least, apart from treating your taste buds, you’ll also be entertained by awesome local musicians and more.
If you keen to learn more about coffee, attend the slew of educational talk sessions and pick up a thing, or two, from experts in the coffee industry. Visit The Labs: three dedicated spots on the fairground that’ll focus on imparting coffee knowledge to festival goers, transforming the way people look at coffee. Psst…the passionate team from Common Man Coffee Roasters are going to dish out a plethora of learning workshops and practical sessions from barista basics to coffee supply chain management. We’re pretty pumped up for that!
General & VIP tickets are available via SISTIC. So, what are you waiting for? Jot down the dates and start making plans with your friends.
