Cocktails, Cantonese fare and afternoon tea: Marriott Bonvoy launches chocolate themed menus that you need to check out!
Who can resist the allure of chocolate? If you’re a fan of this delicious treat, we have three limited edition menus that you need to know about. Together with local brand, Fossa Chocolate, Marriott Bonvoy has launched a three-month collaboration with limited time experiences for chocaholics.
Afternoon Tea at Brasserie Les Saveurs
Looking for an elegant indulgence? Try St Regis hotel’s signature afternoon tea, featuring sweet and savoury delights crafted with Fossa Chocolate. Start with freshly brewed tea or coffee (or a glass of bubbly!) and tuck into the scone basket with delights like chrysanthemum chocolate financier.
Move on to the savouries including foie gras mousse tartlet with chili peanut praline dark chocolate and balsamic, which gives you a beautifully layered bite of all different flavours. There’s also beef pastrami with mustard cream cheese and cacao beans and an aromatic truffle egg mayo sandwich.
As for dessert, bite into a spice cake with milk chocolate and sea salt caramel; a decadent combination of dark chocolate cream, meringue stick and Costa Esmeraldas 80% dark chocolate; a Gianduja chocolate macaroon and more.
Cocktail tipples at Woo Bar
What do you get when you mix booze with a dose of chocolate? An incredible cocktail! And Woo Bar has four of them to tantalise your tastebuds. Sip on Torched, a vodka concoction with creme de cacao, chocolate foam and torched marshmallow. Another one for vodka fans: W-RDR sees clarified milk punch, Costa Esmeraldas and cacao-infused vodka coming together for the perfect cocktail.
There’s also Terra, created with chocolate, Bailey’s, Kahlua and bourbon; as well as O2 Breathe with bourbon, chili tincture, maple syrup and smoked with hickory wood and cacao husk. Try all four cordials with The Journey, a cocktail flight.
Savoury Cantonese dishes at Madame Fan
Savour the unexpected at Madame Fan, with an unconventional limited edition menu. Begin your meal with deep fried har gau with chocolate mayo and experience how the chocolate surprisingly complements this well-loved dim sum treat.
Also, don’t miss the jasmine tea smoked ribs with a lychee rose dark milk chocolate sauce, and the handmade spicy mala chocolate noodles (available hot or cold).
End the meal on a sweet note with Dark Seduction, an oolong chocolate parfait with poached pear, chocolate streusel with cacao butter and more. Craving a tipple? Order a glass of Old School, a Japanese whisky creation with plum umeshu and cacao beans.
