The idea “Singapore’s first-ever LIVE painting by an individual with ADHD inspired on a book” curated and executed by: Ganesh Somwanshi
“Where Art and ADHD Collide” is not just an event; it’s a celebration of creativity, diversity, and inclusion. We aim to shed light on the often misunderstood world of ADHD or vulnerable groups, showcasing the remarkable talents and resilience of individuals diagnosed with this condition. The event will feature Singapore’s first-ever LIVE painting inspired by the book, “Collide” by individuals with ADHD. A silent auction will accompany the painting, allowing attendees to support Unlocking ADHD and the participating artists. One of the key figures in this endeavor is Khaitama D. Sun, Singapore’s only artist who draws with drumsticks at the sound of rhythm and words. He plans to draw two paintings in one go, one with his left hand and the other with his right hand.
“Where Art and ADHD Collide” is a powerful testament to the transformative impact of creativity and the incredible talents of those living with ADHD. By bringing together art, music, and resilience, we celebrate the vibrant spectrum of human experiences and champion the voices of vulnerable groups. This event not only showcases the unique abilities of individuals with ADHD but also fosters a deeper understanding and appreciation of their journey,” shares Tay Guan Hin, Book Writer “Collide”, Creative Chairman, BBDO, Singapore.
