Montreux Jazz Café Singapore blooms in Orchard and hits a high note with its official grand opening on Friday 7 October. Following at-capacity events during the Grand Prix Season Singapore weekend, the encore has arrived: for the first time ever in Singapore, acclaimed British soul singer, songwriter and musician Omar, will be bringing his well-loved hits like “There’s Nothing Like This” and “Say Nothin”. He is considered the father of British Neo-Soul.
With a special guest line up also including Swiss singer, songwriter and performer and one-time coach on The Voice of Belgium, Bastian Baker will make a guest appearance as well as multi-award winning jazz artist Jerry Léonide.
The grand opening of Montreux Jazz Café Singapore will unveil a fresh and internationally influenced dining and beverage menu; and draw the curtains to intimate live performances – an honourable nod to the inimitable moments of the Montreux Jazz Festival.
