The Spirits Library from Poblacion, Makati, in the Philippines, will be taking over the rooftop bar on Monday, April 8, 7 – 11 pm to showcase flavours of the region in a fun-filled guest shift. Ralph from The Spirits Library team will be shaking up four delicious cocktails that reflect Filipino roots.
The thirst-quenching gin-based Slow Down Kiddo (S$28++) offers guests a spirit-fuelled taste of a Filipino childhood beverage found in local sari-sari stores, while Albularyo (Spanish for herbalist) (S$26++) boasts herbaceous notes with Hendrick’s Neptunia Gin. Filipino street food comes alive in Douhua (S$28 ++), which is inspired by local Taho, a delicacy that was inherited from the Chinese and abundantly sold in the Philippines in the mornings. Lastly, sip and savour Saranggola (S$26++) as Ralph regales with his nostalgic and carefree tales as a child playing with the kite.
