From 1 March to 2 May 2024, look forward to a selection of delectable French tarts and pastries handcrafted with heart by the resident baker, N’atisserie (@natisserieeeee).
Natassia’s penchant for sweets and curiosity about the intricacies of crafting desserts, especially tarts, led her to research and experiment with recipes she discovered online. This journey of passion and discovery led her to enrol in HTMI Baking & Pastry Arts after completing secondary education. Encouraged by her father to share her creations with the world, Natassia launched N’atisserie with a line-up of her signature artisanal French tarts and confections, which showcase her dedication and love for the art of pastry-making.
During her residency, Natassia presents a range of meticulously handcrafted tarts such as:
· Strawberry Pistachio Tart ($12.50): Fragrant pistachio frangipane topped with strawberry jam and silky pistachio mousseline cream, crowned with fresh strawberry slices and roasted pistachio nuts.
· Ondeh Ondeh Tart ($9): Timeless combination of gula melaka and pandan – flavours reminiscent of its namesake confection. The tart is filled with shredded coconut cooked with gula melaka, followed by a piping of fragrant pandan cream adorned with a garland of shredded coconut.
· Banoffee Tart ($8.50): Inspired by the classic British dessert pie, this charming rendition boasts layers of creamy Dulce de Leche, sliced bananas, milk chocolate whipped cream, with the finishing crunch of chopped baked almonds.
As an added treat, N’atisserie unveils a Baker X Weekly Special. Every two weeks, N’atisserie will introduce a new tart flavour, beginning with the Café Au Chocolate Tart ($4) offered in a mini size. This first-to-launch flavour is rich with a harmony of chocolate and coffee, featuring dark chocolate-infused sponge, aromatic coffee ganache, and a light and airy coffee whipped cream.
*N’atisserie is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays at Baker X.*
