In this 30-minute session, participants would be doing paper quilling or paper filigree, which is an art form that involves the use of strips of paper that are rolled, shaped and glued together to create decorative designs.
Materials needed:
1. Paper strips
o There are colourful paper strips available for purchase that are specifically made for paper quilling.
o You may also use scissors or pen knife to cut up coloured paper into strips for use.
o Those who have a paper shredder that cuts up paper into paper strips may wish to use that to create colourful paper strips.
2. White glue
3. Toothpick for applying glue
4. Card base for greeting cards, photo frames to be decorated, or metal findings for jewellery etc.
