Zouk Cinema Club is here! So you’ve eaten at pop-up dining concept Capital Kitchen and participated in a sweat sesh with Absolute Cycle x Zouk. Now it’s time to get snug and immerse yourself in a theatrical experience on the club’s dance floor.
Kicking off with films to the theme of “For The Love of Music” in October and November, Zouk Cinema Club will feature all sorts of new releases and cult classics for you to enjoy. The themed line-up will refresh every two months, with one screening each night from Wednesdays to Saturdays, 6pm to 10.30pm. For Halloween weekend, you’ll be treated to flicks like The Sixth Sense and The Nightmare Before Christmas. But if you’re psyched for musical films, get ready to feast your eyes on titles such as Grease, Moulin Rouge and The Greatest Showman in November.
As for the iconic club, it’s transformed into a Moulin Rouge-inspired space, so expect to be transported to the streets of 1899 Montmartre. The glamorous experience is complete with luxurious velvet decor and a replica structure of the famed Red Mill.
Of course, movie-watching won’t be complete with snacks and drinks. And in typical Zouk style, the cinema club will offer boozy concoctions alongside light bites. Munch your way through hot dogs, sausage and mash, nacho chips, fried chicken and Garrett Popcorn’s caramel crisp. Then, wash it all down with sodas or green tea. If you’ve missed Zouk’s signature cocktails, table packages start at $75 for one jug of house pour spirits or Long Island Iced Tea (for 1-2 pax). Feeling flush? You can also get a bottle of Moet and Belvedere ($350++) for groups of up to five from Thursdays to Saturdays.
Zouk Cinema Club welcomes a maximum of 50 people and 14 tables each night. Entry is also restricted to ages 18 and above. Plus, health and safe distancing measures will be put into place for everyone’s safety.
