The glam squad behind F1’s most anticipated party The Podium Lounge has unveiled its extravagant lineup of events tor this year’s edition, and it’s buzzing with Michelin-starred dinners, celebrity and F1 driver appearances, fashion shows, Formula 1 memorabilia auctions and the whole shebang. Ballroom Clubbing
The A-list party is moving from The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore’s poolside location to the luxury hotel’s Grand Ballroom, which will undergo a dramatic transformation into a VIP ultra lounge. The plush space is expected to welcome up to 2,500 high society guests per night, and will house Singapore’s largest pop-up island bar (overflowing with champers, no less), a dizzying overhead catwalk and VIP balconies for the rich and famous.
Chef Quique Dacosta
Michelin-Starred Dinners
Chef Quique Dacosta of his eponymous three Michelin-starred Spanish restaurant in Denia will be rolling out the menu for this year’s Race Dinner. The dinner on 19 September 2014 ($838 per person) will be paired with award-winning wines from Castell d’Encus, one of the most exclusive vineyards in Spain, while the dinner on 20 September 2014 ($988 per person) will be complemented with Château Margaux’s world-famous Premier Cru wines.
Designer Jules Kim of BiJules
New York Cool
Online boutique Gnossem, purveyor of the world’s most cutting edge indie fashion brands, will be sending models, dressed in 10 of their latest crop of designer labels, down the runway – which is built in collaboration with Dom Pérignon. Expect to see cult names from New York including BiJules and Laruicci, as well as the brains – Jules Kim and Lauren Laruicci – behind the brands. Ashley Isham is also set to make a guest appearance together with a showcase his latest fashion collections. On Race Night (21 September 2014), the 12 contestants of reality TV series Supermodel Me 2014 strut their stuff on the catwalk for the first time in Singapore as part of the show.

Super Sonic
DJ Miles Slater, music director of premier private-members club Boujis, will be holding court alongside former Pangaea resident Patrick Oliver and renowned DJ-producer Ian Carey at The Podium Lounge Singapore. That’s not all: Catch Nadia Ali, one of the most sought-after and recognisable voices in electronic dance music, live on stage with her dancers from Los Angeles. General admission tickets start from $188 per day if purchased prior to the event, and $218 onwards (per day) at the door. A three-day general admission pass costs $388.
