Luxury Nusa Dua Hotel Warning: Staying at The St. Regis Bali Resort may bring on serious first-world problems that may require you to stay longer in holiday heaven, such as: a) private butler addiction, b) motivational turn-down service love, c) consecutive Champagne Sunday Brunching at Kayaputi, d) daily Remede Customised Massages, or e) the opposite of writers block – it’s not what to write about first, instead it’s sooo many gorgeous things!
And that doesn’t even really cover the incredible quality of every big and little experience at the St. Regis Bali as it’s simply all world-class. We could go on for days. And we’re not even talking about the 3,668sqm of crystal blue lagoon.
Your accommodation experience is one of the most important when choosing your hotel or villa, so we’ll start there. From the pool suites – with private plunge pool and jacuzzi, large rooms with divided lounge area – through to Bali’s only private beachfront villas, this resort offers more than most. As gorgeous and upmarket as everything is here, and as you’d expect from the St. Regis anywhere in the world [including gorgeous Remede toiletries], the personal touch of little motivational quotes left on your pillow at turn down makes you feel like you’re staying with friends.
So let’s not skip over this fact – the St. Regis is the only resort in Bali that offers beachfront private villas, where you can open the door of your walled villa, pool and garden and step across the path straight onto the sand where your own private, exclusive beach area and sunloungers are waiting for you. Now this, is living.
Then, there’s the food and beverage experience. Everyone knows the reputation of Kayuptui as Bali’s premier fine-dining restaurant across the island, which is entirely deserved. It’s world-class in every way – from the impeccable service, award-winning wine list, Executive Chef Agung Gede’s culinary art, or the Astor Diamond Sunday Brunch [do not leave Bali without this experience].
But don’t forget the High Tea experience to trial the signature Bali Mary – the Balinese infused version of the St. Regis’s world famous Bloody Mary – nor the exquisite dining experience that is Dulang Restaurant, with their authentic and exquisite Indonesian menu.
Then, there’s the butler service. Oooh la la. Even for those who travel with a butler in every destination [anyone?], the St. Regis butlers are exemplary. Ladies, do take up their offer to unpack and repack your bags – their packing will save you up to 20% more space, and that only means one thing. More Shopping. Oh, that and you don’t have to leave the pool or spa early in order to get it all back in there!
Then, there’s Remede Spa. We’ve spa’d a lot across Bali, but rarely do we have treatments that literally take us to heaven. This was one of the best we’ve experienced, and we’ll be going back for more. The Remede Customized Massage, which use specialty products and techniques essential to ultimate relaxation and rejuvenation. Based on particular areas of focus, your massage therapist may borrow from a variety of methods including Shiatsu, Swedish and Deep Tissue, all enhanced with warm paraffin to ensure the most complete massage.
So, book away and don’t go home until you’ve crossed off the above, and more. You’ll be pampered and perfectly content with every experience possible here – can we say, six stars out of five?
