You'll want to add Warehouse Hotel to your staycay bucket list – it's got gorgeous interiors, a fab infinity pool and a fascinating past
Here’s a PSA for all you serial staycationers: the hotel that’s been on everyone’s lips is finally open. Formerly an iconic warehouse dating back to as far as 1895, the restored The Warehouse Hotel is now officially taking reservations. It’s hard to miss it – sitting on the riverbank of Singapore River in Robertson Quay, the property boasts sleek white exteriors and triple-pitched roofs.
To complement the building’s original layout, each of its 37 rooms (across six categories) is unique. Inside, you’ll find a serene, muted palette of taupes and greys elevated with elegant brass furnishings.

Take the time to relax outside of your personal abode, and sift through hard-to-find retail options at the front desk. These include the “Objects of Vice’”collection – made up of accessories that original warehouse bosses would have used like lighters, ashtrays and flasks – curated by local furniture creator, Gabriel Tan, in collaboration with Edwin Low from Supermama. Then, head up to the rooftop infinity pool – it’s the perfect place to kick back over views of the riverbank.
