
On Friday the 11th July, Matty Opai, Bar Director of the iconic Icebergs Dining Room and Bar, makes his debut at Mosto, Indonesia’s first natural wine bar, for a bold and brilliant takeover.
Expect a curated lineup of natty wines and Matty’s personal favourites, alongside a sharp cocktail list featuring Icebergs classics and Mosto signatures
Matty, originally from Auckland, began his hospitality journey in both the kitchen and service before making the move to Sydney in 2012. After a stint managing at Northies Cronulla Hotel, he joined the bar team at Icebergs Dining Room and Bar in 2014, working his way up from barback to Bar Director. Today, he oversees all bar operations across Icebergs venues, including cocktail development, service standards, and brand partnerships, cementing his place as a leader in the Australian bar scene.
