Wine and dine, Bulgari style
Though you’d never need to leave your family mansion if you so choose, exploring the resort’s lush grounds is a flower-lined treat you won’t want to miss. Not only home to a cliff-front spa, breezy fitness pavilion, an ocean-view infinity pool and the Bulgari boutique, Bulgari Resort Bali is also where you’ll find a stellar collection of award-winning dining destinations.
You’ll want to start your day with a six-star breakfast spread at the cliff-edge restaurant, Sangkar, where traditional rooster cages and tremendous local artwork meets a panoramic ocean backdrop. Using organically grown and island-produced ingredients, the menu here extends throughout the day, serving authentic Balinese, Asian and international favourites.
Then, for a lunchtime adventure and ocean-side feast, you’ll want to traverse down the resort’s very own funicular to the protected beach and minimalist bamboo-clad beach club. Settle into the bright white sunbeds and sip on tropical drinks in the shade, serenaded by the soundtrack of lapping waves below. You can then wander up to the intimate La Spiaggia restaurant built into the cliffside, where you can graze on freshly grilled seafood in a one-of-a-kind setting – if you’re lucky, you might even spot sea turtles, dolphins and manta rays…
