Deals at the Festival Village
$12 cocktails at the #SCGF2017 Festival Village
There’s no getting past it: cocktails in Singapore don’t come cheap, especially if you’re in the mood for something a little more complex than your usual rum and coke. So instead, pop by the Festival Village and broaden your cocktail horizons with over 50 cocktails that’ll be going for just $12 nett. Some of the quirky cocktails you can try include the Kopi Ol’ Fashioned by Crackerjack, the Shiok Collins by Mitzo Restaurant & Bar, and the Lion City Sour by 28 HongKong Street.
$19 tasting flights at the Artisanal Spirits Room
If you’re a purist who prefers your spirits neat, you’ll want to pay a visit to the Artisanal Spirits Room. Here, guests will get to sample a flight of four exotic spirits after purchasing a tasting card for $19 nett. Spirits include Nusa Cana, the world’s first tropical island white rum inspired by Bali; Son Tinh, a Vietnamese-inspired liquor; as well as Mekhong, a golden Thai spirit created through a secret production process passed down for generations.
$10-$15 bites at Food Street
Of course, you can’t have a cocktail festival without great nosh, can you? Joining the fray are a slew of pop-up stalls with killer deals. Ninja Cut will be offering its Hot Cheek beef bowls for $10 and their Hawaiian-inspired Waikiki Surf poke bowl for $12. While on the menu at Disgruntled Brasserie are dishes like the petit lobster roll, truffle snow fries, crispy beef short ribs, fish and chips, and deep fried octopus going for just $15.

$10 cocktails at The Other Room
The fun certainly goes beyond the Festival Village. Participating bars like The Other Room will also be offering cocktail deals. If you’re in the mood for a late night tipple, hit The Other Room from midnight to 4am and take advantage of its $10 cocktail deals. The cocktails on offer include the Miss Baker Collins, The Other Highball, the Elyx Tea Punch, and the refreshing Cold Irish Coffee Slushy that’s sure to perk you up. Got the late night munchies? Pair your cocktail with a chilli con carne dog for just $15.

The all-female bar crew behind Highball – led by the one and only Kino Soh – will be mixing up a selection of their signature cocktails like the Apple Pen, Single Presbytarian, and their simple yet refreshing Rangpur Tonic for $12-$15.

$16++ Recovery Breakfast at Crackerjack
With cray drink offers like these, we expect there’ll be quite a few festival goers nursing hangovers on the subsequent days of the festival, but fret not. The folks at Crackerjack have but together a pair of hangover-slaying brekkie meals that’ll get guests back on their feet. The “naughty” breakfast includes chilaquiles and a spicy mezcal bloody Mary, while the “nice” breakfast will soothe with a bowl of bone broth with barley and kale, along with a green superfood shake. The breakfast includes a choice of coffee as well as a hangover prevention packet – how thoughtful!

A $46 gin workshop and drinks & bites at Fat Prince
Want to get geeky with gin? The Kyrö Distillery Company will be holding a gin workshop on 18 March from 4pm to 6pm. Mauricio Allende, Kyrö Distillery’s Brand Ambassador, will host this interactive session where he’ll offer a series of helpful hints and tips on creating sophisticated gin cocktails at home. Rounding off the evening will be a complimentary Kyrö Gin tasting session, along with more Middle Eastern nosh and cocktails from Fat Prince.

An $82 Monkey Shoulder mixology workshop at Hopscotch
Ever wondered when to shake, stir, throw or Konga? Get savvy with whisky at Monkey Business, a cocktail workshop featuring four different mixology techniques utilising Monkey Shoulder whisky. Indulge in tasty tipples and pick up a couple of tricks from Monkey Shoulder Regional Brand Ambassador, Jay Gray together along with Hopscotch’s Head Bartender, Joel Newin. All participants will walk away with a limited edition Monkey Shoulder cocktail toolkit as well! The workshop runs from 2pm-5pm on 18 March.
