Sample the creations of some of Singapore’s best budding bartenders at Tippling Club’s Once Upon a Time series
If you missed Tippling Club’s Once Upon a Time event showcasing Lorenzo Antinori of Charles H., here’s another chance to enjoy an evening of creative cocktails and delectable small plates, as the famous cocktail bar brings together budding bartenders from Singapore’s top bars – namely 28 HongKong Street, Employees Only Singapore, Gibson, Manhattan and Operation Dagger.
The event, taking place on 18 May, kicks off with Tippling Club’s Head Bartender Joe Schofield mixing up a round of sonic-aged Negronis, accompanied by small plates throughout the evening. The evening ramps up with Aki Eguchi’s (Gibson) take on the classic Ramos Gin Fizz, while Juan Yijun (Operation Dagger) salutes Chef-Owner Ryan Clift’s iconic Vegetable Garden dish. 28 HongKong Street’s Joma Rivera then spices things up with a spiced apple concoction, followed by Bai Jiawei (Employees Only Singapore) as he puts together the bar’s signature Gimlet fortified with navy strength gin. Rounding off the evening is Manhattan’s Philip Bischoff who will pay homage to Irish American mobsters with a nostalgic cocktail of his own creation.
