Sleek settings perfect for lounging, a lavish gourmet spread, as well as free-flowing Perrier Jouet Grand Brut, burgundies and whites, beers, and cocktails for $138++? With nine tantalizing dining experiences that’ll appeal to a variety of palates, and six show kitchens (you’ll get to interact with their skilled chefs), this hot brunch spot is perfect for large groups of family and friends.
We kicked off our feast at the deli, and piled our plates with appetizing cold cuts, international artisan cheeses, and homemade breads. The bountiful seafood kitchen beckoned next, with its Fine de Claire French oysters, Aussie Coffin Bay rock oysters, Canadian lobsters, and Tasmanian black mussels. Fun fact: mezza9 sustainably sources their crustacean selection, so double thumbs up for that.
If you can’t get enough of Japanese cuisine, you’re in for a treat! mezza9’s yakitori and sushi kitchens are brimming with an array of sushi, sashimi, tempura, oden (Japanese hot-pot), and zensai (Japanese Hors d’Oeuvres). Beer drinkers, complement your boozy beverage of choice with platters of grilled yakitori meats – probably the best beer grub ever.
What sets mezza9 apart from other buffets is the thai kitchen, where a resident Thai chef whips up authentic Thai appetisers like refreshing som tam (shredded green papaya salad with dried shrimp and ground peanut) and crispy tod man pla (thai fish cakes).
Ready for heartier mains? Classic meats like slow roasted prime beef with Yorkshire pudding, crispy pork belly with dark beer gravy, and slow roasted leg of lamb await at the grill. If your palate is yearning for Chinese, satisfy your craving at the steam basket, which boasts a variety of assorted steamed dim sum, work-fried dishes, and barbecued meats.
Make sure you save space for the sweet stuff, because treats from the dessert counter, like freshly baked Belgian waffles, nitrogen-frozen ice cream, bread and butter pudding, will surely hit your sweet spot! For the ultimate indulgence, head over to mezza9’s martini bar to while away the rest of the afternoon with a handcrafted martini in hand.
Available exclusively on Sundays from 1130am-3pm, Sunday Brunch at mezza9 costs $148++ per adult for free-flow Perrier Jouët Rose, house red and white wines, Tiger and Heineken beer, Mojitos and Bloody Marys. If you’re tee-totaling (we won’t ask why), the brunch buffet comes with free-flow non-alcoholic drinks at $118++ per adult.
Kids aged 7 to 12 years old eat for $69++, so don’t hesitate to make it a family affair, especially with an onsite playroom with toys and fun activities like face painting and balloon sculpting to keep the little tykes thoroughly entertained.
