Boo ya! Here’s where to get your spook on for Halloween. Don’t worry, they’re not really haunted.
You like Halloween but you’re too chicken to go to a real haunted house? Fair enough. Thanks to capitalism, All Hallows Eve has become a sort of festive season and there’s plenty of scares and more treat than tricks to be had at these fun haunted houses and Halloween activities in Singapore.
Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Singapore
Until 29 Oct
Singapore’s biggest Halloween attraction, Halloween Horror Nights returns this year with even more ghouls and haunted houses for its seventh edition. Following relevant and relatable events, you get to traipse around a haunted shopping mall (think collapsing ceilings in major malls), chase your popstar dreams (K-Pop fever, anyone?) with a twist, go on a zombie laser tag and more.

Horror Haunt: School of Horrors at Cathay Malls
19-22 (The Cathay) and 26-29 Oct (Cineleisure Orchard)
Make your way through spine-chilling, school-themed rooms to uncover clues that can help solve this mystery. Backstory: It all started with a school night walk gone wrong, and a girl was found dismembered in the school toilet with her eye balls gouged out. Well, of course she’s going to come back as an angry spirit. If you dare walk through the haunted school grounds where she’s hanging out somewhere, you may win prizes. Fair deal.
Happening at various locations including The Cathay and Cineleisure Orchard.
No Face Terrarium at Oriole Coffee + Bar
28 Oct
Halloween festivities at Oriole Coffee + Bar this year have been largely inspired by “Spirited Away”– the iconic Japanese animated fantasy film. Enter the earthly realm of #OrioleCreates No Face Terrarium, and create a spiritual forest with a spooky figurine, airplant, lush moss and a glass vessel. At the end the workshop, participants can satiate their hunger with light refreshments made by forest spirits.
