Make your way to Marina Bay Sands this September and enjoy an urban picnic, live performances, a community walk and more at the fifth annual Sands for Singapore Charity Festival
There is nowhere else in Singapore that’s quite like Marina Bay Sands – after all, the integrated resort and mall is where you’ll find plenty of internationally renowned brands, award-winning restaurants, a panoramic infinity pool, and world-class theatres. The iconic building already holds a special place in the Singapore skyline and in our hearts, and they’re giving us a great reason to head down next month! From 8 to 10 September, Marina Bay Sands is organising the fifth annual Sands For Singapore Charity Festival, an event filled with fun and family-friendly activities, with all proceeds going to local charities.

Roll out the mats for a sunset picnic
There’s no need to lug along your picnic basket for this one. Marina Bay Sands’ Event Plaza will be transformed into a sprawling picnic area, complete with mouthwatering food from top-notch celebrity chef restaurants including db Bistro & Oyster Bar, Osteria & Pizzeria Mozza, and Adrift.
Sing along to local acts such as the seven-piece multilingual group, Too Much Drama, and pop-rock band, The Summer State, on 8 and 9 September. If you have a penchant for classical tunes, an exciting musical ensemble led by Grammy-nominated Singaporean conductor, Darrell Ang, will also be performing at the Event Plaza on 10 September.
The fun doesn’t stop there: after filling up on delicious bites, chilling out to live music and catching the sunset, feast your eyes on Marina Bay Sands’ brand new light and water show, Spectra. Ending the night with a spectacular display of lasers, projections and water effects? Perfect!

Led by Singaporean music maestro Darrell Ang, the Orchestra will perform popular classical songs like Chopin’s Piano Concerto No. 1 and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5 – and all proceeds from the concert’s ticket sales will go towards charity.
