The latest city hotspot - Anti:dote
Heads up! There’s a new hangout in town and true to its name, Anti:dote promises to be the cure-all to your weekday blues. Handcrafted cocktails and tasty modern tapas in one undeniably chic watering hole? Cheers to that!
The latest addition to Fairmont Singapore, Anti:dote ranks high on the swank factor. A sleek and sexy décor with an open show kitchen and bar, Peranakan touches, and the pièce de résistance – a jaw-dropping seven-metre wide glass chandelier as the centerpiece.
But the star of the show is undoubtedly Anti:dote’s selection of cleverly concocted cocktails that would appeal to even the most discerning tippleholic. Combining the artistry of classic cocktail making with modern mixology, Head Craftsman Tom Hogan uses only premium spirits, house made bitters and liqueurs, and herbs from the hotel’s very own herb garden.
Kick off your weekend in style (or have it any day you like, they still rock your socks) with the aptly named Corpse Reviver – an invigorating concoction of Lillet blanc, homemade orange liqueur, lemon, absinthe and gin – or the sensual Le Liason, comprising Velvet falernum, Luxardo maraschino, egg white, lemon, winter bitters and scotch.

Working closely alongside Hogan is Head Chef Carlos Montobbio who has created a spread of modern tapas to complement your bespoke boozy beverages. Tuck into the mouth-watering selection including Shigoku oysters with cucumber, wasabi cream and passion fruit jelly, mussels escabeche with green olives and red pepper sorbet, and caramelised foie gras with vinegar glazed leeks served atop a crisp puff pastry.
In a nutshell: Anti:dote is the latest city hotspot to hit. In fact, we’re willing to bet that this is where all the cool kids want to hang out – just remember, you heard it here first!
