The Art of Living is hosting a unique, open-to-all community event aimed at raising awareness of mental health and well-being, while celebrating the global heritage and cultural diversity of the world. This event, aptly titled “Breathe, Meditate, Celebrate” will take place at the newly developed Wan Chai Harbourfront event space on 16 March and expects 3,000 participants – with free entry for everyone.

Headlining the event will be a special session on mental health, conducted by the esteemed founder of The Art of Living, Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. Gurudev is a global humanitarian with 42 years of experience in teaching breath-based meditation techniques, and have promoted health and happiness among millions of individuals. His approach blends ancient wisdom with modern sensibility, making meditation accessible and sustainable for everyone in our fast and dynamic society.
Gurudev will address mental health challenges faced by working professionals, entrepreneurs, students, and the general public – offering simple and practical, yet powerful tools and solutions. Under Hong Kong’s iconic skyline and looking out to the stunning harbourfront, he will guide 3,000 individuals through a deep breath meditation session, creating an unforgettable experience of collective mindfulness. The event will be a unique opportunity to immerse in life-transforming wisdom and knowledge directly with Gurudev through talks and audience Q&As. This event will be a grand celebration of cultures, with diverse song and dance performances from various parts of the world including Africa, China, Hawaii, India, the Middle East, and beyond. The Art of Living has organised numerous World Culture Festivals to celebrate inclusivity in diversity since 2005. Its latest edition in 2023 was held at the National Mall, Washington DC, which witnessed a staggering attendance of over 1.1 million people from all over the world.
