With funding from the Hong Kong Jockey Club, Osage Art Foundation is announcing the opening of the exhibition of Jockey Club Augmented Reality in Art Education Project (“the AR Project”). The Jockey Club Augmented Reality in Art Education Project is a two-year education project that offers students and teachers in Hong Kong a unique interdisciplinary education programme that integrates the four pillars of art, culture, technology, and history.
The AR Project established a creative, cross-disciplinary education platform that contributed to the broadening of new knowledge. Over 100 secondary students learnt the process of producing an AR public art project, starting from cultural and historical research in districts around their schools, development of the curatorial concept scenographic design, photogrammetry shooting to the final technical realisation. This public art exhibition at Tai Kwun is the outcome of Year 1 of this AR Project.
