Redress’ popular secondhand pop-up shop is back in Central between 4th – 8th June 2019 at Loft 22, a new location generously sponsored by Lan Kwai Fong Group. Covering every fashion style in womenswear and menswear – with luxury brands starting at HK$400 to high street trends from HK$50, there is something to suit everyone’s wallet and taste.
As the amount of textile waste ending up in Hong Kong’s landfills continues to rise, choosing pre-owned over new is more important than ever. In fact, extending the life of clothes by just 9 months not only reduces the amount of waste ending up in our overflowing landfills, it can also help to reduce the water, waste and carbon footprints of each item by 20-30%.
Whether searching for a cooling summer dress or a sophisticated work outfit, customers will be supporting local environmental charity Redress directly with each purchase. Redress continuously works with brands, consumers and designers to prevent and transform textile waste, while driving the transition towards a circular economy for fashion in Hong Kong.
Customers can also donate clothing at the pop-up shop, which Redress will carefully sort and redistribute across 30+ waste streams in order to keep unwanted items in the fashion loop for longer.
