On Saturday, April 25, Motel Mexicola Seminyak – loud, colourful and never quite under control – turns 13, right where it all began.
For thirteen years, we’ve been slinging tequila, pressing tortillas, and packing tables with people who came for dinner and stayed for something else entirely. Our casa was never just about tacos or margaritas; it’s shoulder-to-shoulder tables, music in the walls, and that moment when the room tips from dining into full pura fiesta.
Trece Años de Fiesta y Autenticidad is a celebration of everything that built the house. Expect the classicos: hand-pressed tortillas, authentic Mexican evergreens and generous plates made to be passed around the table. Behind the bar, tequila and mezcal take centre stage, with cocktails that don’t slow down and don’t hold back. From “otra ronda” to full-blown madness, you’ll be right in the middle of it. Loud, loose and a little out of control.
