It’s hard not to fall in love at first sight with Art from Junk. This home-based studio works magic with secondhand furniture, turning has beens into bold statement pieces. Add a classic Southeast Asian charm to your home with their hand-painted designs of bright flower motifs and textile patterns.

i Preloved, Reloved
As the name suggests, the nostalgic folks of home-based store i Preloved, Reloved are all about reducing, reusing and recycling. Their collectibles are available for rent too; they make for great photo shoot and event props. This fuss-free online site is one for true vintage lovers by vintage lovers.

Noden Collective
Husband and wife duo and vintage enthusiasts Marko Yeo and Tawan Conchonnet transformed their Tiong Bahru apartment into a showroom and have not looked back. Scandinavian and European pieces from the mid-century take centre stage in their handpicked collection, so expect lots of timeless upholstered furniture, lighting, and designer art and craft.

Asher’s Vintage Market
Asher’s Vintage Market was born by accident – the owner and vintage enthusiast once collected so many items that his house was unable to store them all. This online vintage market updates regularly with unique collectibles – from coffee tables to old school luggage. Look out for open house sales where you’ll have the chance to meet and chat with this true blue vintage collector.

Lorgan’s The Retro Store
Step into Lorgan’s and be transported back into the 1950’s. Packed with pieces inspired by the mid-century era, this delightful store harbours a veritable bevy of classic Danish designs. With designer quality pieces at pocket-friendly prices, shopping for that ideal cabinet or chair to complete your home just got a whole lot more exciting.

Thrift House Marketing
It’s hard to miss this bright red building in the middle of a busy cross-junction on Boon Keng Road, but this secondhand furniture buy-and-sell is more of a well-kept secret amongst the locals and those in the industry. In addition to the usual home furniture, you’ll be lucky to snag office desks, chairs and shelves at great prices.

The Godown
Rediscover preloved and refurbished homeware at this retail and interior design store that’s filled with East Asian-inspired pieces with a contemporary twist. With new items added to their collection every month, it’s no wonder this vintage store has found a fan following of its own.

My Rabbit Hole
With a selection of upholstered furniture, glassware and China, My Rabbit Hole is a treasure trove of accessories that will add a touch of whimsy to your home. The store was born out of owner Lock Wai Mung’s growing collection of vintage pieces during her travels and local garage sales, so look forward to lots of charming surprises.

Carpenter and Cook
Vintage home store and café, Carpenter and Cook houses a carefully curated collection of upholstered furniture and your not-so-usual retro décor pieces like weighing scales and typewriters sourced from all over the world. Plus point: this store doubles up as a café so don’t leave without trying their coffee and homemade desserts (the lemon curd tart’s our fave).

Yasashii Trading
Browsing through Yasashii’s collection of antique rosewood furniture and collectibles (think black and white TVs and gramophones!) brought us straight back in time. From Peranakan vases, treasure chests and vintage projectors, this is one store your grandma would approve of.
