You haven’t tried Chinese dim sum quite like this! Yum Cha is filling their xiao long bao dumplings with bak kut teh broth for a special National Day promotion
We all know that the best part about eating xiao long baos – a signature dumpling in Chinese dim sum cuisine – is the soup. Whether you poke a tiny hole in the top and suck out the broth, or pop the whole thing into your mouth like a dumpling bomb, that’s up to you (just don’t let everything drip out for your Boomerang, please). Yum Cha, a renowned Chinese restaurant franchise in Singapore, knows this, and they’ve concocted a new Singapore-inspired, xiao long bao recipe for National Day that’s set to blow your mind.
In a promo that runs ’til 13 August (while stocks last), Yum Cha has filled their xiao long baos with not just any soup, but bak kut teh broth. Yes, we’re talking about that herbal, peppery, pork bone broth you can find at hawker centres that gets more and more addictive with every slurp – shame on you if you let a drop go to waste. These dark-skinned pork dumplings can be found at all Yum Cha outlets, but you might wanna head there promptly before they run out. Remember how quickly that nasi lemak burger sold out?
Yum Cha restaurants can be found in Chinatown and Changi Business Park.
