They don’t call us the Garden City for nothing! Singapore’s parks have become the perfect place to dine away from the city lights. Escape from the hustle and bustle to the lush greens. 

Changi Beach Park
Bistro @ Changi is where it’s at. Relax by the beach at this laidback, no frills spot. Chill out over a couple of beers and snacks, or sit down with that special someone for sunset dinner.

Punggol Park
Located in the heart of Punggol Park, Wild Oats is the brainchild of celebrity chef Wilin Low. What better way to spend those precious weekends than beside a lake, under trees lit with fairy lights.

Sembawang Park
Tucked deep inside the park, the colonial-styled Beaulieu House earns major points for ambience. While it might not be the most accessible place, the unobstructed view of the open sea sure makes up for it.

Nestled amidst the greenery of HortPark is Vineyard, a charming restaurant with a focus on French cuisine. If it’s something else you’re after, fret not, they’ve crafted Thai and Italian menus too. Bonus point: they have a well-stocked wine cellar!

Labrador Park
We’ve raved about Tamarind Hill before but that’s not stopping us now. Get your fix of Thai classics amidst the beautiful greenery. If you prefer a place that’s more laidback, The Labrador is as uncomplicated as it gets. Simple food in a gorgeous environment – what more could a park-lover ask for?

This place is a mandatory stop for locals and tourists alike so once you’ve got that down, take your pick of food stops. From Food for Thought, an all-day breakfast spot, Casa Verde, a casual dining eatery, Au Jardin, the French fine dining establishment, to Halia, a restaurant offering European and Asian cuisines with a twist, Botanic Gardens is sure to satisfy.

Mount Faber Park
Dine under the stars at Jewel Box atop Mount Faber. Housing Black Opal, Sapphire, and Moonstone, each restaurant allows you to indulge in a range of gourmet cuisine, while taking in the hilltop views. Note that Black Opal and Sapphire are undergoing a makeover right now though, so you’ll have to wait till they reopen! In the meantime, check out Moonstone, which offers a range of Japanese sake, beers, and whiskeys, and yummy grilled bites.

Also, just a stone’s throw away is Faber Bistro, which offers international favourites in an equally beautiful yet casual setting.

East Coast Park
You’ll never run out of dining options at East Coast Park. With a standalone seafood centre, a lineup that includes the likes of Jumbo Restaurant, Long Beach Seafood Restaurant, Red House Seafood Restaurant, and more, this is the place to-go for all your seafood cravings.

Not a seafood fan? Not a problem. Make your way to Playground @ Big Splash, where you can find eateries like 1 TwentySix, a seafront dining spot, Brussels Sprouts, where you can get Belgian beer and mussels, and many more. Enjoy the sunset while you eat or take a stroll when you’re done.
