Which Singapore restaurants will bag the coveted Michelin stars in 2017? Find out in this five-course dinner on 29 June featuring cuisine form Michelin starred chefs
Michelin Guide Singapore 2017 winners: Find out who won the Michelin stars in 2017
Just when you thought the foodie-revered hype of last year’s Michelin Guide in Singapore was beginning to subside, here’s yet another announcement for those hungry for more. Start working up that appetite, ’cos the second edition of Singapore’s Michelin Guide will be revealed on 29 June, crowning the cream of the crop of Singapore’s food elites with that coveted star – or two.
Instead of having the awards ceremony at Resorts World Sentosa this year, the organisers will be unveiling 2017’s Michelin starred restaurants at The Fullerton Hotel Singapore. The restaurants selected in this batch will join other high-flying, Singapore-based establishments such as Restaurant André, Odette, Les Amis, The Song Of India, and Waku Ghin – check our full feature of the Michelin Guide Singapore 2016 to reminisce about the biggest food event of the year.
Best part? You don’t need to be a restaurateur or food journalist to attend this star-studded (pun intended) affair. Tickets are available for a price of $595++ per person, but it comes with a five-course, wine-pairing dinner that justifies the price tag. After munching on canapes prepared by The Fullerton’s Jade Restaurant, you’ll move on to the dinner cooked up by Michelin star chefs. These include Chef Seita Nakahara from Tokyo-Italian restaurant Terra; Chef Jason Tan from Corner House that dabbles in the novel “Gastro-Botanica” cuisine; Chef Tam Kwok Fung from Macau’s two-starred Jade Dragon; and Chef Curtis Duffy from Chicago’s three-starred (yes, you read that right) Grace.
And the award goes to…? You’ll just have to see for yourself.
