Sick of chasing food trucks around? Picnic huddles them all in one communal restaurant with pop-up kitchens serving Japanese, Chinese, Italian food and more
Strap in, folks, because we’ve gotten word of a spanking new dining concept at Wisma Atria that’s sure to toot your horn. Picture this: a multi-concept communal dining space that incorporates everything you love about food truck culture – a mouthwatering array of international cuisine prepped charmingly from pop-up kitchens – but minus the exhaust fumes! Picnic gives you peace of mind by bringing this concept into a brick-and-mortar themed restaurant, without you having to hunt around for these otherwise nomadic food trucks.

That’s right: Picnic’s food truck-inspired stalls stay put. Worried about the lack of ambience from an alfresco setting? Picnic even retains its outdoors-y element with state-of-the-art lighting technology that’ll change according to the time of day, with the dining space slated to transform completely every quarter. And even the menu is not spared! Paying homage to the ever-evolving food scene, the nosh here changes with the season too. The truck wheels might not be turning, but nothing’s ever stagnant for long here!
Designed to replicate an urban food park, this dynamic restaurant showcases international cuisine that spans the globe. Japanese food fans, look out for the Hokkaido-style Butadon from Ezo; while other signatures we’re hyped about are the har cheong gai (fried chicken marinated in prawn paste) from Winner Winner Chicken Dinner, and the boozy Italian signature, Vodka Rigatoni from Flour & Water. Picnic is even home to The Coffee Grounds, its very own in-house coffee bar that transforms into a bespoke cocktail bar at night.
Psyched yet? Head to Wisma Atria and see it for yourselves (not like it’s going anywhere).
Picnic, #03-15 Wisma Atria, 435 Orchard Road, Singapore 238877. Open daily 10am-10pm.
