So you want to go out and grab a coffee, but you feel bad for leaving lil Buster at home alone? We relate! As dog-lovers ourselves, we wish we could take our little canine kids everywhere we go, alas, we’ll have to make do with the few cafes and spots below. We’re just crossing our fingers that this list will get longer soon! Have any more suggestions on pet-friendly places in Jakarta? Let us know in the comment section below!
Sophie’s Authentique
We love Sophie’s Authentique’s delicious French pastries – their almond croissants are our favourite in town – and we love Sophie’s even more for being 100% pet-friendly! We’re always stepping in post walking our pups around the Kemang Dalam neighbourhood, and the staff are always ready to greet our four-legged friends with a cold bowl of water as a refresher. Merci!

Caswell’s Coffee
Caswell’s Coffee has just recently opened up on the outskirts of Kemang, and this specialty coffee roaster and cafe is not just dog-friendly, it actually has a spacious outdoor dog park where you can let your pup run loose and mingle with other doggies.

Turning Point Coffee
It may be a little bit out of the way, but Turning Point Coffee is definitely worth the trip. Whether it’s their immaculately roasted cups of brew, their delicious treats on display, or their calming minimalistic interiors you prefer, this cozy café is perfect for a lazy weekend afternoon. Not only is this awesome coffee house pet-friendly, they actually encourage dog-owners to bring their pups along to the party. Another reason why this place rates high on our list.
Turning Point Coffee. Jalan Ki Hajar Dewantara, Ruko Golden 8 Extension Blok K No.10, Monday – Sunday : 8am to 8pm.
Antipodean Coffee
As one of the forerunners of Jakarta’s now buzzing café culture, Antipodean Coffee remains one of Jakarta’s most popular brunch spots. Located in the Hero Kemang compound, this small café boasts excellent coffee and a chocolate cake that is to die for! You can perch yourself on one of their outdoor seatings so your canine can join along too.
Antipodean Coffee. Kemang Hero Complex, Jln. Kemang Selatan 1, Kemang, Jakarta. +62 21 719 23 64. Monday – Sunday: 8am to 8pm.
Halo Niko! Greek Food
Halo Niko! is a cozy little Javanese and Greek warung that serves simple comfort food that makes you think you were invited over for a meal by a dear family friend. The best part? You can grab a seat at their awesome outdoor patio so your pup can sit by (and maybe sneak a few scraps). Whether you’re in the mood for Greek Lamb Chops, or Ayam Bumbu Rujak, or a simple Greek coffee, you won’t regret hanging out here.
Halo Niko! Jln. Warung Buncit Raya No. 98, South Jakarta. +62 21 79191227.
Tribeca at Central Park
Tribeca is a beautiful outdoor courtyard in the centre of Central Park Mall. While pups are not allowed in the indoors part of the mall, visitors are welcome to bring along their canine kids while they visit the alfresco cafes that have a view of the park.
Tribeca at Central Park Mall. Podomoro City, Jln. Let. Jend. S Parman Kav. 28, West Jakarta.
Vodka and Latte
Okay, we know we’re kind of cheating with this one, but hey – Jakarta is that lacking in pet-friendly spaces! Vodka and Latte is an upscale pet grooming service that also features a pet hotel and outdoor playground with a pool! Well, technically, there is a little café on grounds where you can have some coffee while your pooch is getting pampered, or you can stop by for a little snack after shopping in its very upscale pet boutique.
Vodka and Latte. Jalan Kemang Timur Raya 88A. South Jakarta. +62 21 7179 3737
