Childhood friends with Iraqi and Maltese lineage, the duo and their coveted Butter Sessions label have ushered in a new era, sensibility and productivity to the city that raised them.

bagvs is the moniker of Bagus Prayogo, a DJ and electronic musician from Bandung, Indonesia. Proudly identifying as a music enthusiast above all else, his passion for far-reaching sounds naturally set him on the path to becoming a DJ and electronic music producer. Through sharp digging sensibilities, his approach is all about building bridges and presenting the unexpected. With aptitude and demeanor, he presents a plethora of musical aesthetics in his sets — whether it’s the sounds of minimal-tech-bleeps, deep driving house-rollers, or hard-hitting future electronica.
