Ubudians are about to be entertained with a whole new outdoor eating experience in Sanggingan, Ubud, joining the ever-growing kombi kraze on Bali’s shores. The first Ubud Food Truck Park will be held on the grounds of the Ubud Food Festival, near Bintang Supermarket, 18 February, 3pm- 11pm.
Organised by Casa Luna Restaurant, the line-up of food trucks will include Locavore, Porkswagen, Bites on Wheels, Plaga wine, Pasta Kaki Lima and Sayuri Healing foods, as well as a whole host of food stalls joining the party, including Gelato Secrets, The Pie Lady, Honeymoon Bakery, Seniman, La Pacha Mama, Jambali, Djamoekoe and Folk. And for those who like to get their hands dirty, be sure to swing past the children’s pastry workshop with Monsieur Spoon, the maker’s market of artisan crafts, and browse the farmer’s market with live music.
Planned to become a monthly event, the Ubud Food Truck Park brings together the island’s most innovative food-preneurs from Indonesia’s favourites, as well as innovative creations and east-meets-west bites. There is guaranteed to be something for absolutely everyone!
