These heartland gyms are equipped with premium fitness machines and a decent shower facility. On top of offering inexpensive membership rates for a good duration, Gymmboxx also provides one of the more affordable PT sessions for a 10-Session or 20-Session package. Don’t forget to bring your own towels if you’re planning to use its gyms.

Level Gym

Also, the gym’s PTs specialise in workout routines and exercise techniques designed specifically for women and have a firm background in sports-specific injury, nutrition and weight management. And if you’re a mummy, Amore Fitness has a Kit Fit Club where your kids will be kept busy with a bonanza of fun-filled activities, allowing you to work out with a peace of mind.

ActiveSG gyms
Organised by the Singapore Sports Council, this no-frills workout spot offers affordable per entry options – fitting for those on a tight budget or are not ready to commit to a long-term gym membership just yet. Situated at most sporting halls islandwide, ActiveSG gyms provide basic gym equipments for weight training and have several cardio machines, especially everyone’s all-time fave – the treadmill. The downside: it can get uber crowded during peak periods. Also, the gyms do not provide any towels; so do remember to bring your very own or you might be denied entry – you’ve been warned!

UFIT Urban Fitness
With 2 state-of-the-art fitness studios located at Amoy Street and One North, UFIT Urban Fitness offers an extensive array of fitness services, catering to different levels of fitness.
