Can you feel it? The buzz is brewing as we inch closer and closer towards one of the biggest indie music festivals<\/a> in the region \u2013 none other than the hipster-lauded<\/a> St. Jerome\u2019s Laneway Festival<\/a>. Whether you\u2019re a seasoned trooper who\u2019s gone for all five editions of the Melbourne<\/a>-imported spectacle, or a Laneway virgin who\u2019s only recently stumbled upon this treasure cove of alternative music<\/a>, there\u2019s absolutely no harm in getting re-acquainted with all the festive deets. Heads-up!<\/p>\n

The Acts<\/h3>\n

The Laneway organisers made fans weep with the abrupt cancellation of balladeering pianist, Tobias Jesso Jr. (apparently due to clashing commitments with his recording obligations). But making up for it in a huge way, they filled the gap by announcing the addition of indie-pop mavericks, The 1975<\/a>. Them aside, here are all the other musicians performing at Laneway.<\/p>\n

The amped-up rockers:<\/strong> Battles, Cashew Chemists, Cheats, GDJYB, Metz, Violent Soho<\/p>\n

The dreamy soundscapers:<\/strong> Beach House, Big Scary, DIIV, East India Youth<\/p>\n

The synth idols:<\/strong> Chvrches, Grimes, Purity Ring, Riot !n Magenta<\/p>\n

The soul quenchers:<\/strong> Shamir, The Internet, Thundercat<\/p>\n

The bop-worthy producers:<\/strong> Flume, Hermitude, Hudson Mohawke, Intriguant<\/p>\n

UPDATE:<\/strong> Laneway Singapore has officially announced the timings of all performing acts! What’s also revealed is the debut of a fourth stage (we hear the White Room has air-con!) co-curated by homegrown label Syndicate, featuring the elites of SG’s hip-hop and bass scene with peeps like Fauxe, Mean and Kiat. Plan proper with the schedule below.<\/p>\n

The Passes<\/h3>\n

Unless you\u2019ve already gotten your mitts on these golden tickets, it\u2019s still not too late to snag some! Going solo? Buy a standard ticket worth $180. Or prefer to go as a gang of six? Round up your mates, and purchase a group bundle of six tickets worth $999 \u2013 that\u2019s a discounted price of $166.50 per person!<\/p>\n

But say you\u2019re flying in from the region and your Laneway plans are being bogged down by accommodation woes; Laneway\u2019s got some packages that will have you settled. For $258 per person, you can get a two-night stay at Rucksack Inn (Lavender Street or Hong Kong Street) in one Quad Room (sharing for four people); complete with four Laneway tickets. $307 per person covers three tickets and one Triple Room (sharing for three people), and $358 per person covers two tickets and one Double\/Twin Room (sharing for two people).<\/p>\n

If you wanna up your abode to a chic boutique hotel, $445.75 gets you a two-night stay at Big Hotel Singapore. This package includes a Superior Room (sharing for two people), complimentary breakfast, and two Laneway tickets. But for the luxurious sorts, you can also check into Carlton Hotel Singapore for $520 \u2013 two-night stay for two guests, along with two Laneway passes.<\/p>\n
