Everyone loves a chilled-out BBQ party<\/a>, and you can count on us Honeycombers<\/a> folks to throw one! We walked the talk and organised our own jubilant shindig called Orange Oasis<\/a>, held at Oasis<\/a> at Grand Hyatt Singapore<\/a> \u2013 what a night! After arriving to the poolside restaurant by party bus (\u2019cos that\u2019s how we roll, duh), we played host to roisterers who came dressed in their slickest orange threads. And \u2019cos we treat our readers and guests like royalty, we pampered them with an all-you-can-eat buffet<\/a> spread and free-flow bubbles<\/a>. Told you so; our parties kick ass.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

We Ate Till Our Tums Were Stuffed<\/h3>\n

Compliments a-many to the Oasis<\/a> chefs! They spent hours behind the grills and stoves, prepping dishes like whole-roast sweet potato, lamb-rosemary sausage, Spencer Gulf prawns, Cajun spiced fish, grass-fed flat iron beef steak and even peking duck. Seafood lovers had their fill with freshly shucked oysters and poached tiger prawns, and they even catered to herbivores with a slew of fruit and vegetable salads. And don\u2019t worry; we\u2019re not gonna judge if you were the one who spent all night loitering around the soft-serve section. Oh and by the way ladies, it\u2019s not too late to chow down on this feast. From October 22, Oasis will be kicking off a new Ladies Night promo<\/a>, every Thursday from 6.30pm to 9.30pm. All ladies can enjoy 50% off the BBQ buffet, featuring all the aforementioned finger-lickers on a charcoal-fired grill. And yes, there will also be free-flow booze \u2013 pick your poison from an assortment of red and white wine, prosecco, select beers, Oasis frozen lime, strawberry and mango margaritas and soft drinks. All this, at just $49 after discount.<\/p>\n

We Posed For\u00a0Pics Till Our Cheeks Were Sore<\/h3>\n

Of course, this party wasn\u2019t just about nomming and gulping till you drop. Parties are about meeting new people and capturing moments. That\u2019s why we roped in the photo-snapping talents of Babooth<\/a> \u2013 Singapore\u2019s very own Party In A Booth! Kudos to the photobooth team for amping up the craziness with rainbow afro wigs and Minion glasses, though we couldn\u2019t help but contribute to the madness with our very own caption signs. Come on, you know you\u2019ve always wanted to pose with your best (or worst) \u201cDuck Face\u201d and \u201cBitchy Resting Face\u201d. We certainly had a blast taking silly, unglam shots with the Babooth dudettes, and you can too if you ever feel like hosting your own fiesta. We Played And Pranced\u00a0The Night Away<\/h3>\n

And because it\u2019s always fun to watch not-so-sober people act otherwise, we called in a favour from our pals at Monkey Shoulder<\/a>. Normally, we\u2019d rely on \u2019em to supply us with smooth triple malt Scotch whisky. Instead, we requested for their giant Jenga set (because #priorities). Many peeps triumphed with impressively stacked towers, while others fumbled spectacularly \u2013 a party crash that we deem acceptable. And okay, so we admit it was hard to concentrate on the game with such danceable choons of nu-disco and tropical house in the background. But no party\u2019s complete without some booty-shaking tunage, right? Us playlist pros personally saw to that.<\/p>\n

Never mind if you\u2019re an awful dancer or a Jenga player who doesn\u2019t understand Physics, or if you\u2019re shy in front of the camera or self-conscious about your food baby from heaps of food.
