Is there anything lovelier than an\u00a0afternoon tea in Singapore<\/a> (or high tea, as some may call it)? It’s up there\u00a0for us – the whole affair leaves us feeling utterly\u00a0pampered<\/a>.\u00a0Maybe it’s the air of elegance it comes with, or the need to capture pretty pictures (although we’re still learning from our favourite Instagrammers<\/a>).\u00a0Perhaps\u00a0we just love scoffing\u00a0finger sandwiches, cakes and tarts… while pretending to be posh. Where do we go when we’re in the mood for a\u00a0great cuppa and some awesome nosh<\/a>? You\u2019ll find us at 10 SCOTTS<\/a>;\u00a0the extensive spread leaves us feeling spoilt for choice (and completely stuffed).<\/p>\n

Available daily from 12pm to 5pm\u00a0(first seating 12pm to 2:30pm, second seating 3pm to 5pm), afternoon tea<\/a> at 10 SCOTTS ($75 per pax on weekdays, $85 per pax on weekends \u2013 with free flowing Champagne) features a plethora of items spanning a number of cuisine types. Sure, you\u2019ll find the delectable Western classics, like gourmet tartines to freshly baked scones and crab cakes, but leave plenty of room for other noteworthy choices. These include artisan cheeses, dim sum, sushi and curry puffs (because curry puffs and Champers are the ultimate dream). If that\u2019s not enough, there\u2019s also a selection of soups, sides, and a la minute dishes flamb\u00e9ed to order that changes on a weekly basis.<\/p>\n

Of course, what\u2019s afternoon tea without coffee and dessert? Get stuck into\u00a0an array of sweets; there\u2019s ice cream, sorbets, cakes, and heaps more to choose from. Dying for a\u00a0glass of bubbly? There\u2019s free-flowing Perrier Jouet Champagne to be had, alongside 23 choices of tea, coffee,\u00a0and selected juices. What could be better than helping yourself to all this, while relaxing in the cosy, comfortable lounge (which, by the way, is set against a cascading two-storey waterfall)? Not a lot.<\/p>\n
