At St. Regis Osaka, there\u2019s the Shogun Mary, which has spicy wasabi, fresh yuzu fruit and dry gin, while the Bali Mary \u2013 from The St. Regis Bali Resort, of course \u2013 contains jicama, cucumber, and brown sugar.<\/p>\n<p>At The St. Regis Singapore,\u00a0we have the Chilli Padi Mary at Astor Bar \u2013 infused with lemongrass, chilli padi, and ginger to give the cocktail a distinctive Singaporean flavour. The best time to have it is at The St. Regis Bloody Mary Brunch, happening every Sunday in the month of October.<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019re keen to try making one at home, round up some premium vodka (1 oz), lemongrass (1 piece, about 2cm thick), sliced fresh old gingerroot (1 slice), half a chilli padi (thinly sliced, with seeds removed, 0.5ml of sugar syrup and 90ml of tomato juice. Muddle the vodka, lemongrass, ginger, chilli padi and sugar syrup together. Strain and pour into a rocks glass filled with ice, then add tomato juice, stir and serve.
