But, how many workplaces can say they have a work of art designed by a superstar botanist? Turns out, only one on our Little Red Dot. Meet The Work Project<\/a> at Asia Square, Singapore\u2019s first and only workplace with a living wall designed by Patrick Blanc. Come along for a peek inside this one-of-a-kind workplace that features a landmark installation. You\u2019ll wish your office had one, too.<\/p>\n

A lush living wall to greet you on arrival<\/h2>\n

Make your way to the heart of Marina Bay, take the lift to level 11 of Asia Square Tower 2, and you\u2019ll find yourself at The Work Project\u2019s Asia Square location. Once the lift door opens, the imposing stature of the renowned living wall is first to greet you.<\/p>\n

Anchoring the workplace\u2019s entrance, the lush wall of living plants instantly brings nature into the space and uplifts the ambience. Many of the plant species on the wall are unique to Singapore and the region, adding a special tropical flair to the decor. As a living wall, it is ever-evolving, and makes for a dynamic feature.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s a fun fact: this is not Patrick Blanc\u2019s first design commission for The Work Project! His first green wall design for the co-working brand was in Hong Kong, which was so well-received that commissioning another green wall for Singapore was a natural next step, shares the team from The Work Project. Given Singapore\u2019s reputation as a garden city, the team found that commissioning Patrick Blanc to create a vertical garden felt \u201cparticularly meaningful\u201d.<\/p>\n

Not only did the French botanist invent the vertical garden, but he is also the brains behind numerous public landmarks, cultural institutions and luxury developments worldwide. Think the Mus\u00e9e du Quai Branly, a renowned green wall in Paris; giant cascading vertical nature structures in Bangkok; as well as a multi-storey living wall at Changi Airport Terminal 2.<\/p>\n

\u201cPatrick pioneered the modern vertical garden and is best known for landmark installations at major cultural institutions and public buildings around the world. To bring his work into an office environment is therefore particularly special and unique,\u201d says Junny Lee, CEO of The Work Project.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor us, it is more than a design statement. It reflects how seriously we think about the environments in which people work \u2013 bringing nature, beauty and a genuine sense of wellbeing into the workplace.
