Aperol Spritz took over the busy CBD street from 19 to 21 August 2026, and transformed it into a glowing after-hours party. A vibrant sea of orange on Pekin Street<\/h2>\n

In Singapore, missing the sunset and staying well past 6pm to tackle a never-ending pile of work is all part of the norm. Enter Aperol Spritz\u2019s Switch Off. Spritz On. sunset party, a street-wide takeover to change how the workday ends.<\/p>\n

For three evenings, over 3,000 professionals from all over the CBD made time for the Aperol Spritz Sunset Block Party on Pekin Street. From 5pm, people could be seen dotting the streets with the iconic Italian aperitivo cocktail in hand and giving the golden hour the attention it deserves.<\/p>\n

Psst: this isn\u2019t Aperol Spritz\u2019s first time reclaiming the golden hour! Earlier, Aperol Spritz successfully \u2018hijacked\u2019 multiple offices<\/a> in the CBD to throw a well-deserved after-work party.<\/p>\n

The crew \u2013 featuring pop artist SORN, beatboxer Neil Llanes, saxophonist Bian Tong and Campari Group brand ambassador Bystrik Uko \u2013\u00a0came disguised as maintenance workers wheeling in a large delivery box. In a surprising twist, the \u2018delivery\u2019 transformed into a playful live performance accompanied by a glowing tower of Aperol Spritzes \u2013 perfectly timed for the entire office to raise a toast to the sunset!<\/p>\n

The office takeovers and block party center on one core idea: sunset being a state of mind, not just a timestamp. Aperol Spritz calls this the Sunset Life. Rooted in the Italian philosophy of aperitivio, it is a time to pause, gather and share the first drink of the evening. While one concept brought the golden hour to the workplace, the other gave people a space to gather for it.<\/p>\n

As Armando De Paolis, managing director for Asia partnership markets at Campari Group puts it: \u201cIn Italy, when the sky turns orange, it’s time for aperitivo: a moment to pause, connect, and enjoy life together.\u201d<\/p>\n

If you\u2019ve been to an Aperol Spritz party, you know you can always count on the team to bring a stellar DJ curation. This time, Ice Cream Sundays\u2019 DJ line-up had it covered for all three evenings. From freshly knocking off to full-on party mode, the groovy beats carried the energy through the night. And as the sky faded into golden hour and dusk, the atmosphere got even buzzier.<\/p>\n

Office workers could grab an Aperol Spritz from any of the nine F&B venues along the street \u2013 Blu Jaz, Buns & Booze, Kazbar, LECOQ, Miss G\u2019s Grill and Bar, Offbeat by Coq & Balls, Rock and Roll, Wine Connection Bistro (Capital Square) and The Chamber \u2013 and unwind over hearty conversations with their work crew.<\/p>\n

Missed the party this round? No fret, you can still pop by any of these participating venues anytime, and grab an Aperol Spritz when you need an after-hours pick-me-up.<\/p>\n

Between sips and the clinking of glasses, party-goers got hands-on crafting personalised sunset coasters, splashing on hues of orange, yellow and amber to match their evening\u2019s vibe. And for fans of personality quizzes, Aperol Spritz rolled out a Find Your Sunsetter quiz to find out if people were a Dreamer, Explorer, Connector, or Chaser of sunsets. Every response also came with a personalised charm featuring their unique sunset identity.<\/p>\n

Of course, no party is complete without proof. The Sunset Vibe photobooth was one of the most popular spots, as guests flocked there to capture picture-perfect golden hour moments. As the sun went down, the roving Sunset Paparazzi also surprised many with a flurry of flashes and candid photos for an epic night to remember.<\/p>\n
